Designing Dreams
The next 3 blogs will break down the difference between a design, a garden consultation, and garden maintenance. Up first…DESIGNS.
Design Order
After ordering a design, you will receive a questionnaire asking for some basic information. As soon as it is filled out, it returns back to our dashboard, and we are able to book a time (if not already established).
Design Consultation Day
We will come to your house at the scheduled time and begin our assessment. We will discuss a multitude of topics during this conversation such as set up, who will be planting and tending, what vegetables do you (or want to) eat regularly, gardening experience, budget, space available, as well as preferred location.
After Consultation
Here comes the design! We will begin working on your design. When we have finished, it will be sent to you for approval. We allow for an additional design concept if you are not satisfied.
Options
There are three options after a design. You can keep your design for a DIY project, build a garden package, OR you can ask for a turn-key garden installation.
Build a Garden
This option allows for more flexibility in budgeting. You can choose from…
Garden Box Installation
Soil Installation
Planting Plan
Plant Installation
Turn Key Garden
If this is the option you chose, congratulations! A turn-key garden installation is our favorite. It’s like starting on a blank canvas and creating a masterpiece. After acceptance of the design, we will gather the necessary information, and send an invoice for the work to be done. From here you get to sit back and watch the magic happen! We will transform your space into the garden of your dreams. (This package includes it all with garden boxes, soil installation, planting plan, plant installation, and a followup coaching session.)
Designing is one of our favorite things to do (besides play in the dirt)! We always feel honored being invited into a client’s space to design a garden that will nourish their family each year. We look forward to working with you!
